About the studio

Hi, I’m Kira — the owner + designer behind Sideline Studios.

I’ve been working in the creative space in one way or another for a long time. Personally, for friends and family, as a hobby, and very often because I had an idea and absolutely no ability to leave it alone.

As a diagnosed ADHD girly, my brain has always been good at collecting ideas, spotting possibilities and turning one small thought into something much bigger than originally planned.

Which is not always convenient.

But it is very useful here.

Small idea.
Bigger plans.
Obviously.

For years, I dabbled in all kinds of creative projects — design, prints, cards, templates, gifts, event pieces, packaging ideas, sports graphics and the kind of “I wonder if I could make that” ideas that somehow become a whole thing.

A lot of what I made started as something for someone I loved. A team gift. A birthday. A bedroom print. A season memory. A little moment that deserved more than being buried in the camera roll.

People kept telling me I should do more with it.

I ignored that for a while, obviously.

Then, after a few subtle pushes from some of my best friends and my husband, I finally took the leap and created Sideline Studios.

What this place is for

This studio is for the ideas that start small, personal, sentimental or slightly chaotic and then need someone to make them look intentional.

I love collaborating with people to bring ideas to life, especially when they do not fit neatly into a box. Sometimes the best projects start with a clear brief. Sometimes they start with a screenshot, a story, a photo or a message that begins with, “This might be weird, but…”

Those are usually the good ones.

So if you have an idea that is starting to escalate, send it through.

It does not need to be perfect, polished or fully planned. It can be oddly specific, wildly sentimental, slightly chaotic or currently living as a screenshot in your camera roll.
